On Sunday 23rd September 2007, a 15 acre field was used by anyone who wanted to be part of how farming used to be like during the past century. People came from far and wide either with their own tractors or they were able to use one of the tractors brought in, with a host of old fashioned implements to pull up and down the field. We had a Caterpillar D8 pulling a mole drainer, a Junior, Field Marshall, DB25D, MF148, Grey Fergy's, Massey 1150, Ford FW-30. A Threshing outfit and a tractor-driven circular saw and a Doe Triple D. Below and on the following pages are some pictures taken throughout the day, including one of the Cat D8 having a tug-of-war between the Ford FW-30 and MF1150.
Super Major Doe and Bomford Super Flow.
